Removed the boom cylinder to replace all of the hoses, as I had a leaking hose and most were quite old and dry.
I wasn't careful enough to recall the proper orientation of the boom cylinder.
Should the fittings for the hoses be located on the upper side of the cylinder when inside the boom, or toward the lower side of the boom?
This image shows the fittings on the upper side (toward the tractor) of the cylinder.I really struggled and could not get it in place until I rotated it 180 degrees, so the hose fittings were toward the bucket.
