While doing seals on boom cylinder decided to change bushings and whatever on boom and swing as it seemed a bit sloppy.

Found the set/lock screws for the pivot pins were loose, backed part way out. Getting things apart found the holes in the pins were "hogged out" and the threads pretty much destroyed. Or, so I thought at first.

Now that I have cleaned things up and started to order new pins (which are not all that worn otherwise) it strikes me that it may be these were not threaded at all and just got thread like grooves "impressed" in them while banging around loose. That kind of makes more sense, that the screws should just "bottom out" in the holes as it seems iffy one could get any threads started properly while being threaded also in the frame. If you get what I mean.

Pictures of those specific parts are not clear, but other similar ones do appear to be un-threaded.
