BT900 Dipperstick

The plate at the top of the dipperstick where the pin that holds the dipperstick to the boom snapped off. Does anyone know if this is a repairable break or do I need to get a new dipperstick? The plate let go right at the weld where the pin goes through the plate.

Can you post a couple pictures of the break? I suspect it could be repaired, you might need to frabricate a new piece and weld it up..

BTW how did it happen? My L35's dipper is made of some HD metal..I wouldn't think the backhoe has the strength to damage it.

Without seeing pictures, Id say it would be repairable. For something like that, i would hire a professional welder though.

Post some pics for a more accurate response.
