Bucket bleed down?

/ Bucket bleed down? #44
Cabin fever sets in again .

Yep. For the past couple months I can get out for a day or two, then the weather drives me back into the shop. Today it's 18 degrees, stiff NW wind, 1" of snow on the ground and still spitting. :(

If my barn had rollup doors rather than two 17' x 14' sliding doors I would insulate the thing and have a place to work for at least part of the winter. I have run out of things to do. Can we stretch this bucket bleed down conversation any longer? My buckets are still up.

You Sir, are an abnormality, that's all there is to it.......

I sympathize with your situation of not having an all-weather shop...... I'd be more crazy than I already am without mine..... :)

To leave your bucket in the air will cost you dearly oneday . For all safety let it go down when unattended !

winter has been pretty nice around here. Maybe 2in snow total for the year. High temps anywhere from 50f to 70f. Almost no shop time, wife has me remodeling the house. Knee has had me climbing ladders one day and recovering for the next two. Many hours watching netflix, surfing the net and making stupid posts on internet forums. Trying to learn to play a banjo, not much luck. Not much for me to do but watch paint dry.

When I took her out two weeks ago, I attempted to dig up my Septic Tank covers. I say attempted because the ground has 6" of frost. Plus the outside temp was in single numbers. All I did was bounce around for five minutes and then put the machine away. I ended up using a bar by hand for six hours. Do you think the Pressure relief valve is messed up? All I did was claw at the ground for about five minutes. The only thing I accomplished was sliding the tractor around in the snow.

You need a ripper tooth!

I'm not very good at idly killing time either...... But hey, you are "banking" some points with the wife!!! :D
