Thanks to JB4310 for the idea.
Fabbed using 2" square tubing with .375 inch walls, two 4 ft pieces bought off of eBay for around $50 including shipping. Bought a 12" and 18" receiver from Harbor Freight, both were on sale for under $10 each. Cut six inches off the 12 and used for the middle brace. Welded using a Harbor Freight 130 amp DC inverter welder. Paid $160 for the welder, and I am very impressed. I had not welded in 25 years but picked it backup quickly.
It could pick up the old 6 ft box blade with a middle buster thrown in without issue.
