Is anyone aware of a heavier duty bucket for the 2615. I have around 60ish hours on the machine and see some pretty decent wear (actually it is getting quite beat up) on the non-replaceable cutting edge already. Something with a replaceable cutting edge would be great. Any insight would be great.

Achilles, Wow what kind of work are you doing that tore up the leading edge? I have the Cub Mitsubishi model same as yours only 3 HP less. As I remember Woods made the quick detach loader for the Cubs then, and the bucket was reasonably HD for the tractor. I opted for a Bush Hog loader which had a better price but the bucket was not as heavy as the OEM model. That said, only putting 25+ hours a year on my tractor I have done a little bit of everything with it, plowing especially every winter and I would consider my light bucket worn but by no means needing a new edge. I have wondered when the edge went what to do but I would guess you could have a machine shop cut off the old one and weld on a new one.

Note sure what your digging into but I have over 300 hours on my 2810 HST, and I have normal wear from the hard New England ground.

I put a tooth bar on mine and it goes on and off with two bolts. If want to smooth things out with the bucket it takes no time to take it off.

The tooth bar makes a big difference in digging. It's like having a bigger machine, and it will help protect your factory cutting edge.

Im sorry to hear that your machine is wearing so fast.
I tell all my customers. (This is a farm tractor with a loader)
not an excavator or cat.

I would add a tooth bar to your bucket if youre looking to do any digging
good luck Ern.

YES YES YES. What I really wanted was a CAT D8, but I had to settle for the 2615 with FEL, something about it wouldn't fit in the garage. Anyways> I have found myself using the loader for tons of stuff. I suppose most wear has been moving fill and top off the drive which is pretty rough binder. Nothing really too taxing. I have moved some pretty big rocks with the bugger. Has anyone tried to retro-fit somet type of replaceable cutting edge? Can't imagine it would be too hard. 3 inches of 3/8 would probably do it. Any suggestions?

Achilles, I have yet to have any of my customers complain about thier bucket, but if you are having problems you can replace the cutting edge. A torch and welder would be required to replace it and a heavier duty cutting edge could also be installed. If there is anything I could help you with send me an Email.
