Forks Bucket forks or loader rake?

Still narrowing down the list of attachments for my (hopefully soon-to-be) tractor. One of the items I was leaning towards was a set of bucket forks, but a while back Del posted some info about something called a "loader rake".

Ever since then I've been debating which one to get (there are reasons I can't get both <img src=http://www.acknowledge.com/kubota/expensive.gif>). Although the rake is a little stubby for many forklifting operations, it would certainly handle much of what I had in mind.

I have a lot of clearing to do on my 42 acres, and before I can do very much brush-hogging I would have to remove a lot of fallen timber, rocks and shrubs. I like the apparent sifting function of the rake to speed this task along.

So, does anybody have such a rake? Used one? Seen one?

I have no idea where to get one or how much they cost. Also, this looks like a dealer installation job -- possible to do it yourself?

So many questions... so little time.

Do an internet search under loader rake etc they are in Granite, Washington, when I find where I put the brochure I'll post the info. These can stay on the tractor all the as opposed to bucket forks which can't be tilted up out of the way.

I searched the internet with half a dozen search engines and came up dry. All that's out there is stuff for the really big kids' toys.
