I have a Challenger 265B, when ever the loader bucket is tipped down to the swivel center point of just hanging from the hinge pins, it just stays there for an aditional 5-7 seconds before the oil builds up in the cylinders and pushes it all the down and back under , i find it very discouraging. when i either continue all the way up or down with the bucket for an aditional 5-6 seconds at its stops (fully extended or retracted)-it will work like it is supose to - instantly both directions, ,,,, seems like air in the system but that has been factored out,,,,,,I was starting to think a seal came loose in one of the cylinders( O-ring) and the seal sliding back and forth in side the cylinder is letting it swing ( in a matter of words)till oil pressure pushes it back to were it needs to be. does not matter if it is cold or hot out, just started or been running for hours.
All the hinges are good and tight, well greaced.
could it be in the loader controll assembly stick? the bucket does drop down when off the ground and motor turned off,,,, about 2 inches in about 15 minutes, faster with heavy loads but not much,,,maybe 3 inches in 15 minutes.
I do have another question about putting rear hydrolics on it but thats for another thread here.
