Bucket Jitters when lowering

While using my L3300 to push over cedar trees, and loader to help unseat the roots, I noticed the bucket would shake/jitter when being lowered. It would raise smooth and ok. I could not find any leaks. I continued to work another hour or so and it finally got smooth again. Is that an indication that something is about to go wrong. Is there something I should do? Thanks.

My loader did that, and I think I wasn't getting enough grease to the upper arm fittings. Somebody has put 90 degree zirks on which made it very difficult to get at. I replaced the 90's with 45's, greased them well, and haven't noticed the problem since.

Thanks for the response. I have had an 8N for several years, but the only experience I have with a front loader has been since March when I bought the L3300. I will have the grease gun going tonight.

As a side note, if anyone has "jitters" going up it sometimes is due to the pump sucking air. This can be due to low oil or in the case of my Ford 1710 a design problem that wasn't discovered until after the tractors go out in use. Ford NH came out with a different filter mount that repositioned filter and a different dipstick which changed fill level. Mine's an 83, the changes were made in 85 86?. They also added brackets for a sideways mounted shock absorber on the front for wheel wobble and changed one of the hydraulic junction points that leaked on a frequent basis. These changes all show in the parts book and are "retrofittable" (is that a word?) to the older ones.
