IF you are in Ohio and want to do it yourself consider using shovels and pry bars to get the rocks onto "sleds". Car hoods work. Then drag them with your ATV or a tractor in the winter when you have snow and ice.
/ Budget friendly machine for 40 acre property - used for moving big rock, trenches
I have a similar size property, And I own a compact MF 34hp tractor with a backhoe attach on the frame. It’s a good backhoe (wallhenstein Rancho 720 with a thumb). Very happy with this setup. I can move good rock and work in about any aspect of this property size (Sometime you need imagination). A bigger tractor is difficult for moving in the wood part. Smaller is not enough. Who will find a lot of application over the time!
