Buffalo Hydraulic Turbine debris blower adaptation??

It says it needs 20.45 gpm at 3000 psi.

The PT425 only has 8 gpm at 3000 psi for the PTO.

Even the largest Power-Trac, the PT1460, only puts out 18 gpm, which would be marginal.

Thanks Tim, I was afraid of that.

My boss has one of those puppies. It has a 25hp engine directly driving the turbine. It could almost blow my PT425 across a parking lot. I understand the troops in Iraq use them to blow the sand off of IEDs.

I'm pretty sure a 425 could carry one on the QA. Driving the turbine with the PT hydraulics is out of the question. I'd be afraid to use one in my yard. I only need to move leaves, not topsoil and small boulders.

Yes, it can turn it, but at a reduced speed.

You might get 1200 to 1500 rpm.

Someone has installed a blower on a 422 or a 425. Don't remember who.

Looks like they also have a smaller (.7 cu in) motor available for it which would drop the power needed to ~14GPM.
