For years we had trouble keeping water out of the fuel of our 950. Even when the tractor was moved inside after 30 years we still had recurrent problems. Dosed everything with a biocide from Power Service ( http://www.powerservice.com/bk/ ) and the problem seem kaput after several months.
Makes sense chemically that there was a biologic problem, and the water was one of the waste products, unlike photosynthesis which produces carbon dioxide and oxygen.
