I just got a used Kioti lk3054 with a Buhler 190 loader with 43 hours. It has a joystick control. The problem is that when I push the stick forward to lower the loader lift arms, it acts like it can hardly move it and the pressure line moves indicating high pressure. Going up it works fine. I reversed the lift cylinder lines and it goes down great, but goes up slow.
Also, it will not lift the front of the tractor by the lift arm cylinders. But if I curl the bucket down from a level position towards the ground it will easily lift the front of the tractor.
Its as if the valve assembly is not letting returning fluid back easy enough when lowering the bucket. As far as it not being able to lift the tractor, I might have to check the pressure. I'm not so concerned about lifting the front of the tractor as I am about lowering the lift arms correctly.
Also, if the bucket is off the ground and I put the level into the float position, it drops very slowly.
There is a allen screw with lock nut on top of the valve assembly. I adjusted it and it seemed (note the seemed) to control the balance of where the curl control is left to right on the joystick. I checked the lines back to the hydraulic outlet on the tractor and the Tank line and Neutral line were backwards. After changing it, it made no difference in the performance.
Is there a relief valve adjustment for the downward motion? From my diagnostics it appears to be in the valve assembly. I know that the cylinders for the lift arms are 2' diam with 1.5" cylinders. The bucket is 2" diam with 1.25" cylinders.
Thanks for any input.
