Tiller Buhler/Farm King Tiller?

Anybody have any experience or opinions on this brand of tillers? /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I have a 44 in. model labeled with Farm King decals with slip clutch on a Kubota B7100HST.

It's been badly beeten around on 50 year old very rocky sod. Broken many tines and have worn out three chains as well as breaking the chain a few times.

For the conditions it was used in I have no complaints.

In Canada it may be painted orange and listed as a Kubota rotatiller.

I have a 45" Farm King. They call it a 48" when they sell it to you. I've only had it a year and use it in sandy soil so I can only say say that for the time I've had it it's been fantastic. Farm King is part of the Buhler/Allied/Versatile group and they make everything from blades to Loaders to Monster 4x4 tractors. They are all well known in the AG industry around here and have a pretty solid name. Check out their website.

I have a 59" that has a year of service or should I say about 50 hours. My dealer did not set up the slip clutch right and he told me it was all set to go. Long story short I broke a chain. I did some checking and found the dealer did not set it up. He agreed and paid for a new link which only lasted two hours so he put a whole new chain on. Since then I have had no problems. I have hit some pretty good sized rocks with it.
