Buhler yc7400 snow blower on Kubota 2920?

I know the blower is a little over-sized for the tractor, but could it be used if I slow down my ground speed and let it eat? There is one for sale locally for $1500. Would take it if I can get it around $1000.

Hello ChuckV309,

The issues are traction and the three point hitches weight lifting limit.

chains and loaded tires are something you should have just on general principal

The other issue is whether you have a front end loader or suit case weights as you need to
be able to balance the front end of the mule when you are moving with the snow caster is raised.

Another option is caster wheels. of which I am going to install on the RAD snow caster that passes
for a john deere 42 inch on my LA115.

I have tyo put them on mine becuase the snow caster is lop sided due to the impeller being off set-which is something you should not have worry about with your snow caster if you get it. BUT the caster wheels will save on the accidental digging and gouging that can happen on soft ground.

I'll have my FEL on at the same time for traction, balance, and to scrape hard areas.

Hello ChuckV309,

I can tell you with personal experience that loaded tires and chains
are an added bonus. My LA115 was horrible without the addeed weigtht of the loaded tires.
