i need to put a cab on my 7040sud kubota im thinking square box tubing for thr framing with snaps glued on the tubing stainless steel snaps how would that work in high winds and what size box tubing to use for main framing i was thinking 1 inch
I think you would be happier if you traded the Kubota for a Case with a cab already installed. A homemade cab is going to ruin your trade in value on that new Kubota.
I build one out of 1-1/2 inch angle iron in 5 parts (4 sides and the top), which lets me take it off for the summer quite easily , and put lexan all around with plywood on top. Not the best looking cab around, but it makes a big diff. in the winter. Much cheaper then a newer tractor or a aftermarket cab.
you seem to have plenty of money to throw around becuase you buy tractors and run them for less than 100 hours before trading them in on new ones. Why not just trade this one in on another kubota with a cab
