Wow, I have really got behind on posting any pics and updates....

Waiting to spring to do the stone work and cedar shake outside. Interior is buttoned up other than baseboards, touch up painting, and kitchen and bath cupboards. Ceilings are all pine T&G, finished in one coat of pickling stain and 2 coats of varithane. I hate to say, but there is over 100 man hours into just finishing the pine for the ceilings, plus the time to install. This is why I haven't posted in a while.. haha.
One thing I am really proud of is that more than 80% of materials in this house are Canadian, and 98% are made in North America. ONLY the slate tile are imported for Italy. Work really hard to shop at home.
Have the cedar drying In the shop for the mantle. Will likely install next week after I mill and finish it. Stove is propane btw.
