Couldn't find wwf less then $1.69 a gallon so I found a barrel of methanol at a fuel/oil dealer. $225 w/tax for 55 gal-- 4.09 a gal plus a free barrel. Diluted it 3-1 with tap water (25% meth) good to 0 deg. F. Ballast for $1 a gal. Fit about 33 gal in each tire of my massey 1433 15x19.5 r4's. I was surprised 1 tire and wheel empty weighed 235 pounds
fluid should add 264 lbs to each tire.
I mixed it in a small barrell then pumped it in with a manual diaphram pump hooked to a tsc valve. I think i'll put some in the tc33 as well. I'm looking forward to added hillside stability when I'm bush-hogging next year, plus the r4's need all the help they can get.
After ballasting two 30hp tractors I will have spent the equivalent as if I had bought wwf for both but I should still have 25 gal. of methanol left for home-brew wwf in the trucks and to experiment making biodiesel.
