MF GC2310
Finally got off the fence and went to order a GC2310 yesterday.

None available. Expected delivery 6-8 months!

What is MF thinking? I can't wait that long and now must look at other options.

Bummed.

Have your dealer get you one from another dealer.

You could look into a BX23. I ran into a similar scenario when I was buying. The Massey dealer had one GC2300 on the lot, and there was one GC2310 on all the dealer's lots in Florida. If the TZ24 had a backhoe I would have looked at that more closely. The 2210 was too pricey and my dealer wasn't interested in dealing.

Yeah, if your dealer really wants to sell you one he can find one (well his dealer rep should be able to find him one). I would get back in touch with your dealer and let him know how serious you are about this. Unless of course there has been a shortage for a while and no other dealers are willing to let go of theirs. But I would surely look a little further into it.

Yep -- my dealer called all the dealers (that he knows anyway) within 500 miles. The only 2310 he found had just been sold. I haven't given up, and he's still looking.

Yep -- TZ24 was attractive, but no backhoe.

Yep --JD2210 is nice, but no backhoe.

And both NH and JD have "limited" Cat1 3PH. (My MF dealer claims MF 3PH is NOT limited.)

So I'm thinking (gasp) maybe 1428V with BH? Or even 1431 with BH? Anyone have experience with these?

Thanks for the feedback!

The only other sub compact with a backhoe is the Kubota. As for the NH, it does not have a limited 3pt. The JD and the Kubota both have limited 3pts. The Massey has a twin tractor that you might want to look up, I think it is called the Simplicity Legacy(?), they have two versions of the Legacy, one is a mechanical twin to the Massey and as such a BH is available...if you can find one.

Bob,
The Legacy is a completely different machine. Check the specifications.

My dealer, Swain Heavy Equipment, Albany, GA has 6 GC2310's on the lot as we speak, and is expecting 2 more any minute now. Don't know where you are but... just an idea... potential savings of at least a couple of thousand (no sales tax for out-of-state buyers, I negotiated to less than $15,000) plus you would get the tractor that you want. Hate to see a man not get the tractor he wants. Uh, to be pc, or are you a woman? 'Course, never met a woman named Ted.

I took delivery of mine late yesterday afternoon, have 5 minutes seat time. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif When I get time I'll post my, "Hey y'all!"

Doug

Thanks for reminding me to fill out my profile.

I'm in northern Nevada (Fernley -- east of Reno).
