here's the bumper with lights mounted to the hpx. i have a trailer hitch that has i think a 2 and 1/2 "lift on it . and it clears it . i didn't hook up the lights because i'm not keeping it on we have to try others out to make sure they fit. but anyway here is the pictures.

thanks man ! wait til i get my pipe bender then your gonna see some nice stuff.i plan on doin a whole setup for the hpx/xuv and the rtv. i just have to make a new front bumper for the rtv i like them rtv's but man i think them front bumpers are butt ugly .lol .i am lookin into a powder coating system so we can do them with a powder coat instead of painting them. but we will have to make a oven to fit them in .i have the oven figured out i am gonna go to the dump and get a bunch of eletrical burners off the eletric stoves they throw away and mount them on the sides in a metal box then i will get my eletrician buddy to wire all them up together .and make me one big oven. i figure about 4 good burners should get the 400degree heat needed to cook the powder coat on. hey if this thing ever gets goin it would be the first place that was totally self made .

Any chance you could sell your idea to John Deere
for inclusion to their accessories?
Could be a nice little earner for you.
Good, simple clean and functional design.

i went to john deere a while back and thier answer was NO!!!! i was told i could get measurements if needed but thats it they said they wouldn't even alow me to try it out .so i figure i'm on my own. besides did you look at the thread on another website about that custom xuv. look at the way the stuff fits that is a joke that stuff is thin walled tubing . if you do hit something with it it will bend and do more damage than if you just bumped the fender. the tubing won't pop back out but the fender will but if you got that thin stuff " eye decoration" on it's stay bent in til you take off the decorations . i'm gonna go find the picture of the xuv i was talkin about . one reason i wouldn't wanna sell the rights to deere would be they would start makin them out of a thinner tubing instaed of black iron pipe i'm gonna sacrifice a bumper in a few days and make a video and get my son to backinto a few things at diferent speeds and see what kinda abuse they can take now i'm not saying you won't bend them but if you do you will be in the hospital with whoop-lash becaus this is not a cheaply made bumper no bumper gets made until someone ask for it so there is no bumpers sitting on a shlf somewheres so if someone calls they have to give me a few days to get-r-done then it's out the door. i guess you can say it's a personal treatment . if i could hire 5 guys i would but i can't there is no room and no machines to weld with. it's a small shop and when i say small i say small there is three of us at the most in there at times and we bump elbows . i will post a picture or two of our "little shop on the prairie" here is the picture of the sad connection i was talking about . they could have done a better job on that it looks like it just slides right in there and maybe one screw holds it in place sad it could have been done better. for someone spending money they deserve to get what they pay for .
