Why doesn't anyone ever talk about Bush Hog Zero turn mowers? They seem to be very well built and I'm seriously considering buying one. My budget is around $5000. The 2052 estate series is $5125 out the door. Also in the running is the John Deere Z445 and the Toro Titan 5400. The John Deere seems awesome except for the deck. The wheels are too small on the Toro.

I mow about 2.5 acres a week. I don't need a commercial unit but I want something that will last. Any help or suggestion from all your experience would be great. Thanks.

If the standard deck on the Z445 doesn't thrill you look at the Z445 54HC. You can't put a bagger on it but then again who wants to slow down to bag anyway. It's 9 gauge steel in the 7iron deep dish form.

Well, I bought the toro titan 5400, you know the one with the small wheels. It runs 7.5 mph, great cut, fabricated deck and got it for $3999 in the middle of the summer. I love it. Like any zero turn you have to be careful not to dig up the turf on the turns. Cuts my old 42 inch jd L110 time in about half.
