Any suggestions on how to attach the lines to the loader, other than zip ties?

I like those, but I did not want to weld to the loader if I didn't have too. But I wonder if I drill and tap the loader frame to use those if it will affect the loader strength?

My only concern about welding or drilling into the loader arms is, would it weaken it

I stopped by my local hydraulic shop today and got a few of these. I got the ones for 3/8 hose. I think 3/8 is big enough. What do most people use when adding hydraulic lines on their loaders,Tube or hose, and what size?

1/4" hose is usually plenty big enough...unless your running a hydraulic PHD. Grapples, 4n1's and snowplows do not need high flow, and the smaller lines help slow the cylinders down for better control-and it's cheaper and easier to route.

Although I do want to run a hydraulic PHD. So I should stay with the 3/8. I might what to use tubing instead of hose.

I don't think tubing for a PHD is a good idea. Whether it is on the bucket up front, or the 3pt out back. PHD needs to swing freely and the bucket/3pt has to move up and down.

3/8 hose should be good enough. If you have to, you can limit the hyd low many different ways.

Well, I have not started this project yet but will need to do it soon. I was wondering where does the WR Long kit mount on a Bush hog 2426 loader. I have been researching this for the last few days. I found that the Bush hog 3rd function kit kit mounts on the loader cross bar. I like that idea. I looks like the Bush hog kit is easy to install because of where it mounts. Then the wire that controls it runs on the inside of the loader frame, which would be out of the way of getting damaged.
