Bush Hog 286/ 6 foot rotary cutter Questions

I think it is KK ( could be howse ) that has their manuals online for PDF download. While it won't 100% the same as the BH.. It will give you an idea of how the blade carrier attaches.. etc.

I went to Bush Hog site and they attach with a tapered shaft and a large nut.
I called hydraulic shop yesterday and they have almost what I need, It will give me a little over 25 PTO HP and a good RPM just a little over 540 and I should be ordering it now.
Now I need a 286, or a 6 foot RC anybody have one for sale? And if it needs repair, that is no problem to me.

Sounds like it is working out good for you... the extra rpm wil be a bonus!

The extra RPM is not a great deal its only 593.6 RPM all I have to do is back down a little. I have learned allot doing this, 540 RPM is the same at 20 HP as it is at 40 HP, the torque is half which means I will have to go slow, I don't mind a bit. This is mostly for brush clearing anyway and it will work real good and my PTO HP is a little over 25 HP I can live with these numbers just fine.
I am still looking for a 6 foot brush cutter/RC.
