Not sure if anyone is familiar with this backhoe. I'd like to change the fluid/filter, but can't seem to find a drain plug. None of the hoses seem to attach to a low enough point in the reservoir to drain it fully. Am I going to have to use a fluid pump, or does someone know of a secret drain plug I'm not seeing?

I see no connection to the tractor's PTO shaft and nothing but a hydraulic send and receive pair of hydraulic lines obviously connected to the 8 gpm tractor's hydraulic system, driven by the tractor's engine. Under that operator's panel on the hoe, is probably a hydraulic manifold powered by those 2 lines in the picture and controls are like any hyd. manifold, be it single port or multiport, probably open center....fluid flowing constantly. Checking what I said, get a helper if you can't reach it and lift the FEL alone a given distance at PTO rated RPMs. Then lift the hoe alone a given distance, checking the lift time in both instances.
Then, with your helper and both implements in the original position, run them both simultaneously, same RPMs and see if the speed isn't drastically reduced on both.
Then look around on the hoe for grease zerks wherever there is movement under pressure (weight-force), like the ends of the hydraulic cylinders and the pivot of the hoe down where you were looking for a sump. If you see zerks down there, fine.
That said, you have no sump to drain in the hoe. Your sump to drain and filter to change would be the tractor's.
