I think Bush Hog roto tillers are made by Sicma { correct me if I'm wrong on this} How long have they been making them for Bush Hog? I want to know because I looked at a 5 ft. that looks like the gearbox or chain box { don't know which} on the side looks like it is black cast iron with no sight glass. The newer Bush Hog tillers look like smooth stamped covers painted the same color as the rest of the machine. {just like the Sicme} Also, it's a four tine tiller. Does anyone know who may have made this tiller? Are they any good? it may have been a RN 60?{don't know for sure} I only have 23 PTO hp--B3200--is that enough?
Thanks
I seem to remember that Ted from EverythingAttachments.com said that Sicma does make the Bush Hog tillers and I am under the impression that they are chain driven. Don't hold me to that. From what I know, Sicma is one of the best. I personally would consider one, but I want a gear driven one over a chain. I guess it is personal preference.
My Mahindra 2816 also has 23 PTO hp. I have talked to several people that said it will run a 5 foot tiller, so I am guessing your B3200 will also do fine. It is always best though to break the ground with a patato plow.
I am looking very seriously at trying a Kodiak 5' tiller. They look the same as a King Kutter and are gear driven.
I have a Bush Hog rts 62 that I am using on a B7500 . It has been a great tiller I bought it used with worn tines and just replaced them this year , so it's like brand new .
