Anyone have any experience with one of the Bush Hog M series FELs? I'm specifically interested in the price and how they fit to the tractor; are the mounts tight, etc.
I've seen a Bush Hog 'QT' series loader attached to a JD tractor and there seems to be some play in it; it doesn't seem to be a tight fit.
I was wondering if the M series, which is supposed to be a true mid-mount loader, is any better.

Thanks!

I've got a 2245 QT FEL on a Cub Cadet 7234 tractor and it seems to fit just fine. I wouldn't really call it a Quick Detach compared to other loaders I've seen. It bolts to a fairly hefty frame put on the cub by a couple of large hooked bolts. The specs on it were superior to the CC model, both outlifting in weight and reach. It has worked fine for me both moving/ plowing snow and trees and wood around. The bucket isn't quick detach either, it has large steel pins that have to be 'driven' out with a punch to take it off. The fit and finish are ok except the color doesn't match the CC yellow. It came with the tractor so I don't remember the price but if I remember right it was quite a bit cheaper than the OEM model. Let us know what you buy.

Thanks for the info! I'm a ways off from buying, at least I think I am. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
I do like to get all the info I can on various equipment options before I buy.
