Bush hog PHD model question

I bought a Bush hog PHD and I can't find a model or name plate on the unit. It seems to be in very good shape and I don't think the owner used it much. He said it was 6-8 years old, but he had no manuals for it.

How can I tell what model this is?

I have looked at the current ones. It seems closest to the the 2102 but doesn't have the bracket that I think is for adding weight to the unit.

Actually after reading though the online manual the bracket looks like it is for a down force kit that is hydraulic. I have seen a kit also that can add cast weights.

Yup ! Just like you said looks pretty near to that 2102 mdl except for DFK bracket. Looks to be in real good shape.I'd replace the gearbox oil,grease oil pto shaft joints,and make sure my shaft covers in good shape.Hard to tell from pic but that might be a 9/12 " auger on there. :thumbsup:

It has both a 6" and 9" auger with it. An older couple that had a horse boarding buisness had it. It didn't look like it had much use at all going by wear on the tips of the auger. They said they only used it to put in a 100 X 200 riding area and some odd jobs here and there. They are moving south to get out of the snow.

Come spring that is what I plan on doing is service it and see what it does.
