Buying Advice Bush Hog vs Land Pride finish mowers

Be been shopping for a finish mower lately and I can't decide between the bush hog RDTH 72 or the land pride FDR2572. I've never bought a finish mower and would like some opinions. Thanks

I've owned a Bush Hog (RDTH60) and have only looked at the Land Pride and Woods, but I think any of those would be good.

I bought the LandPride 72 after the same debate you are having with yourself. the price was so close and so were the opinions about which one was better. which ever way you go you will have a nice high quality finish mower. They are both great. I really do love my landpride. It is easy to grease and hook up and cuts great!!!

I have mowed both commercially and at home with RFM mowers for many years. I have tried a few brands. There maybe something out there better than a Woods PRD7200 but I have not found it yet. And I have been looking. I have had my Woods PRD7200 for 7 years now.

Yep, try out the Woods!

Frankly, Bush Hog, Land Pride, Woods, Befco...all great finish mowers. It's really a coin flip as to which is "best".

I used a land pride mower today behind my old 135. In my opinion the land pride did a better job than the bush hog mower I used. And I really like it more than the bush hog and I'm gonna go with the land pride.
