Let us know how well you like the Land Pride. It doesn't have the the anti-scalp springs on the castor wheels like the Woods does and the caster wheel arms are not as beefy as the Woods.

I mow on relatively flat ground so I think I'll be fine without the anti scalp springs

I honestly don't know, I've never had much experience with finish mowers

Even on level ground a castor not dampened by springs spins uncontrollably. Sometimes the castor wheel is running straight and sometimes the castor wheel is running sideways. Depends on the bounce. A castor not spring dampened will bounce sideways many times and scalp the yard with the wheel. And these non spring dampened castors beat themselves and the arms that hold them to death. For slow mowing not a big issue. But I mow fast for 4 hours every weekend. I have spent many an hour RFM mowing with a MF135. I have destroyed some RFM mowers but not a Woods RM660 or Woods PRD7200.

I have a Land Pride finish mower that I bought used. If I had come across another brand of equal quality, I would have gone with it. What I like about the Land Pride is I can easily get parts for it at the Kubota Dealer. The most important thing about anything you buy is being able to fix it and get parts in a reasonable amount of time for a fair price. I think Land Pride and Kubota do this through their dealers and it's why I own two other Land attachments. They also have a great website that you can look up exactly what part you need from their diagrams.
