Rotary Cutter Bush-hogging with mmm still attached

Other than the obvious of hitting something, would running the bush hog with the mmm still attached cause any issues? It would be one small area that I know has no rocks or logs, just grass and weeds as tall as I am. I could bush-hog it in about 5-10 minutes and was thinking about just leaving the mmm on while doing so. fyi...Not cuttting with the mmm, just leaving it attached.

Run the bush-hog and the MMM at the same time and drive in reverse! Hog and finish-cut in one pass!

I leave my MMM on when hogging the old pasture. I know there are no stumps, rocks etc. The only problem I have had is the MMM will occasionally pile up the cut grass from the bush hog.

Yeah, I have done it on known areas and even did the backward mowing a couple of times.

If you could pin the deck high (my JD 4700 allows this) then it works great. If you can't (not sure about Kubota) then it will probably lay down the weeds which will make hogging them harder. If I couldn't pin the deck, I would probably just take it off.

I used to bush hog with my tc33d New Holland with no problem at all. I no longer use the bush hog with this tractor because I use a larger bush hog with a bigger tractor. My MMM has holes you run pins through to hold it up and out of the way. This allows normal use of the 3 point hitch attachments. Taking off the MMM would be an absolute nightmare on the tc33d. This will work fine. I did it often when I had a BX2200. I'm sure your BX has the same ability to lock the mmm on the highest setting so when you raise and lower your 3pt it will not affect the mmm.
