bushhog 62in tiller

well i just got off the ph awhile ago with my kubota dealer,an bought a bushhog 62in 3pt tiller for $1875 delivered an hooked to the MX5100.does any1 here have bushhog tillers,an how do you like them.

I have run a 62" Bush-Hog tiller for six years,first with a L3130 and now with a L4240,has been trouble free.Just make sure the slip clutch is serviced before using.Here in the rock garden North-East I run with the discharge flap full open;just spits the rocks out the back.I am up to 10 acres a year.:thumbsup:

this will be our 1st time running a 3pt tiller.an itll be used to till up bare spota in the pasture to smooth them.ill ask about the slipp clutch when its deliverd.the main use is to till a garden.

You will need to service the slip clutch every year....real easy takes 15 minutes or so.Just loosen the bolts ,start PTO and lower,makes the clutch clean itself,retighten to specs. I paid about what you did seven years ago,so you did ok on the price.

thanks for the info ill remember that,an ask the deleivery man in the morning if theres anything i need todo besides that an greasing it good.im surprised that it wasnt $2500.there was $200 to $300 differane between the bushhogg an king kutter tiller.i priced the 62 an 72in tiller in the kk line,an they was $1499 to $1699.
