Bushhog 765H backhoe seal kit ordering?

Well, the great deal I thought I was getting on a 3 point backhoe is down to mediocre now.

After getting it home and connected, the cylinders for the curl and to crowd are gushing fluid when powered one way.

Previous owner got me.

So now I’m looking for the kits if possible to repair these.

Is there someone on here that supplies these parts?
I try to buy from people on the forum first in support of all they take the time to help the rest of us.

I got it apart today. First I laid it straight out.
Then I started taking the bucket cylinder out to find out the bolt heads had gotten chewed up through the years. Luckily, I was able to get a wrench on the nut on the backside and loosen and remove them.
I then used a toplink pink to drive both pins out. They came out easy.

And off to the shop.

The gland nut didn’t want to move at first with a hammer and pin punch. I gave it a good squirt of penetrating oil and let it set a minute. It then spun out pretty easily.

And then the rod wouldn’t come out and it took a 5ft bar to turn it. Uh oh. I screwed with it a bit. Beat on it a bit and carries it outside to the walnut tree. Rigged something up OSHA wouldn’t approve of and it pulled right out!

Back in the shop. Impact wanted no part of getting the nut off with my little pancake compressor and so a cheater bar, breaker bar and 28mm socket went back out to the backhoe. Pinned it on one end in the boom and the bar took it loose easily.
And back to the shop once again.

Started tearing it down and found the culprit.

Now I am cleaning and trying to find a seal kit for this. Any ideas where to start?

Well. Back to square one. That part number Rick graciously found for me is obsolete and can't be ordered any longer along with any internals for the cylinder.
Happy to sell me a whole cylinder for 1600 bucks though.


Surplus Center had some at one time for 80 bucks but now out of stock but I was able to get the specs somewhat on the cylinder to try to find a replacement.

Bore x stroke 2" x 15 1/4"
Pressure = 3000 psi
Rod Diameter = 1 1/8"
Retracted length = 22 11/16"
Ports SAE6

End Mountings
Rod End = Crosstube
Outside width 2 3/8"
Pin Hole = 1"

Base End = Thru-hole
O.D. 2 3/8"
Pin hole = 1"

Going to load it up and drive over to albany New york and try to find some Hydraulic Repair shops to see if the parts can be replaced piecemeal.

No bueno on the hydraulic shop rebuilding it.
I found a similar cylinder on Surplus center and ordered it. It look like one of the pins is 1 1/8 where the old is 1”.
I hope to open the mounting holes up in the boom or possibly shim the cylinder mount tube. We’ll see.
