Busted Springs

I have had three tenision springs brake on my zero turn badboy anyone else have that problem?

the spring that keeps tension on the belt.

Are the ends of the springs breaking off?? Or are the springs breaking in the middle??? Where are you getting the replacement springs from??? I am wondering about the metal strength of the springs.

If there is a problem with the belt or pullies that causes the springs to continually flex, that can shorten the spring life.
Check that the shafts are not bent causing the pulleys to run ex centric...
