I just found there's a button under the dash - what's it for?

Also, what does the button/switch that the clutch pedal engage do? Mine isn't wired to anything. And what about the three red lights on the dash - I only have one that lights on start-up.

And I didn't know there was a need for a horn on a tractor.

As you might of guessed I've taken the dash off - doing some rewiring and painting everything. Pics soon.

I don't know about the button under the dash, but the switch at the clutch pedal is a starter safety switch. When properly installed, it prevents the starter from cranking the enigine unless the clutch is depressed.

The dash lights are for oil pressure, engine temp, and charging.

The horn is actually used to call cows.)

lol - does it moo? Thanks for the info Mark. Still don't know what that button is for though. Maybe a kill switch? I'll try it when I get the thing back together.

Here are a couple pics stripped before and after paint. The body paint is finished too but don't have pics yet. I went with a darker blue. Today a friend redid the Iseki decals and hope to have it together later this week.

These Iseki's have everything don't they. Mine has turn signals, horn, hi-low beams... I've added fender lights, rear lights, halogen single beam front headlights, flashing marker lights (for snowblowing in the road during whiteouts), a new starter switch with separate glowplug heater switch, wired the marker lights to the flashers and did away with the turn signals, added a fuse box, added 3 seperate lighting relays. Changed the glowplugs over to Kubota ones with a different resistor. Ran power to the rear for the hydraulic winch controlls, and a power outlet. Added hydraulic power to the rear with a selector switch to choose between the loader and winch. Added a pressure relief valve for the winch. Calcium in the tires. A front loader. Broke off the hydraulic oil filter on a stump and plumbed in a new one along with boxing it in. Broke the oil fill off on a chunk of firewood and JB welded it back, and added a skid plate/reinforcement to it. Froze the clutch by swamping it in a beaver pond and had to start it gear to free it after draing the housing. I USE this tractor HARD.
Anyway, some Iseki's, I'm told, had a levellor or some such, for the three point hitch. Mine showed signs of having had this. Maybe that's the extra button?
P.S. I use the horn to tell my wife it's time to come help, and because it's fun.
Beep-Beep.
Maybe an OOGHA horn would be the thing?
