Hey guys.

Anyone know if historically the Kubota special offers are better, worse or equal from 4th quarter to the 1st quarter of new year?

In Canada the Best for BX is 0% for 30.

Thanks

No way to predict, imho. The economy is bad here in the US. I don't see any OEM getting too carried away with dropping its incentives.

It's like buying gas. Do you fill up today and then it drops 20 cents on the gallon the next hour or does it go up 20 cents on the next hour? I filled mine up because the light came on and the next day it went up 15 cents so I saved about $2.50 by buying when I did. Course we've got snow so it may drop 20 cents or go up 40 cents. Also there are all the 5 gallon containers for diesel fuel that I should be filling up when it's down but then when I do it goes down another 30 cents.:D The economy is down but someone from Mi is seeing a bigger down turn than us in Ky so the down turn in the economy has to be geared toward tractor sales and not the overall economy to make your move based on that. I don't use my tractor in the winter so since no one uses their tractor in the winter you know no one is buying in the winter so that's the time to buy. Wait, what about all you guys coming out of the wood work now with the smiles and great stories about your snow moving exploits and we never hear from you about your great grass mowing moves!:) Man, it's hard to see the future but the past has shown that Kubota tractors continue to increase in price constantly. So, with that in mind I think you can now make your decision. Of course there's always the chance that your the last guy on earth wanting to buy a Kubota (since all the rest of us already have one or two or three or more) and if so the prices will drop by thousands because of the lag time of stopping manufacturing till it's figured out.:) Hope this help you to decide whether to buy now or wait till prices go up or go down.:)

One strategy would be to wait until the new models are announced. I'm not sure when that happens (maybe Spring?) but if you like the current offerings, the prices will drop as soon as replacement models hit the dealer lots. Look for models that have been around for a few years. They are most likely to be updated.

Kubota credit programs historically get worse in January then get better gradually through the year..

If you want to go Red instead, I understand they are having an all out push to clear out inventory and have dropped prices to very low points. Just saying.

I personally would not wait expecting this drop. Prices have been on a steady rise so my expectations are that the newer manufactured models, will be higher and the last months/years model will be the same price. Just my experience and opinion. They're not cars where a new model can be so different and with new GPS maps which make it worth trading. Changes on these tractors seem to be slow and ongoing with an occasionaal sheet metal change and I think it's a rare buyer of tractors that does it for sheet metal changes.
