Buyer Beware of CASE-IH parts co, Portland,Or.

I ordered (2) slave cylinder kits for my case-ih 1494 brakes. They sent me the wrong parts that was shipped directly from Rock Valley,Ia. I called the folks at Case-IH and they were nice about it and said it was their fault and would send me the correct parts. They ask for a picture of the correct part which I sent to them along with a pic of the part they sent to me. After about 2 weeks I called several times and left messages for a return call which they never return. I called again and ask for the person that I talk to by name and was connected. He said the pics went to junk mail but he found them and would send them to (A&I) (what's that). So a week and a half later I haven't received my parts.So bottom line is my tractor has been down a month and I am out of 119.69 dollars for trying to save about 15 bucks by bypassing the local Case-IH dealer. They might be good folks there but not so far with me

A&I is a aftermarket parts company that offers parts for most brands of tractors. Much like TISCO, and some of the others

That's why you go w/ a local dealer. I'm sure it will be taken care of, A&I is a reputable company.
Evidently they may not be available through Case-IH corp..
When you say CaseIH, I'm assuming you mean the dealer who has the website.

I sell A&I and find their customer service to be very good. I'd get after your local seller.

Thanks Rick, sounds like you think A&I didn't get the message from case-ih parts about the wrong part.
I think you might be right. I sent photo of part to their website and they found it their junk mail after 2 weeks.
I've had good service with other parts sites I've used.

being in the parts business i think the ih dealer did not tell you they could not supply parts and went with another source that they supplied with the parts numbers from them not you you did not talk to a/i. from past experience a/i would have already resolved the problem as stated before a/i is somewhat connected to john deere also. i also source parts from other companies but i tell the customer before hand and follow up to make sure it all goes well good luck

John Deere owns A&I outright.
