Buying a 3500 Ford Industrial from a friend, can't find info

I am looking to purchase this tractor from a friend. He got it used as well. He believes it to be the 3500 Industrial model. The power steering pump is out, I am looking into that as well. I have called 2 New Holland dealers, neither can tell me if the numbers I have are actually to the 3500 tractor, what the horse power is, or any other specifics. I know that it is diesel. I don't even know the motor size.
It is yellow, has a loader, and a canopy. He told me it has a continuous PTO. He has to many tractors and decided to let this go because its the smallest one. The other 2 he has are large JD's.
Does anyone know anything about this model or can anyone point me in the right direction to find this info?
On the plate it says, Serial 947.

hmm.. 947 sn? doubtfull...

Post the info from the foil tag under the hood panel, if it has the tag.. otherwise.. on the flat of the starter bellhousing has the date code, model ID and sn.
those are stamped numbers.. not raised cast in numbers..

before i rattle off 3 cyl specs. lets see what you actually have.

pics help too. front end and rear end especially as the axle differences make it easier to pick out the machines.

also grab the casting number off the block. this will help us determine what engine it has, since the 3 cyls will swap..
