Getting ready to pull the trigger on a 5525 or 5625 in the very near future. I pretty much know the options that I want other than the tires. There are 3 options for the front, 11.2/24 - -12.4/24--13.6/24 and there are the 420/90 - -480/80R30 --15.5/38 options for the rear from what I can find. Ill be using this tractor for haying, with a decent amount of road travel. The ground where I am doing the haying is pretty soft stuff so I need to do what I can to help the rutting. Any opinions would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance,

I would go with the radial (R) rear tires. Larger footprint, better traction and tend to ride smoother because they are radial and generally operate at a lower pressure. Buy the larger radial if you worried about soft ground or compaction. A 480R is 18.9" wide and the 420 is 16.5" wide.

In the midsized and larger farm tractors, I don't even know if a non-radial tire is an option any more. Radials also have a longer road life than a bias tire.

git the the biggest which would be the widest and give the highest top end for the road travel
