Buying a totaled vehile

If I'm not mistaken, the rear a/c components are in that rear corner . . . may need to check on that.

I also believe the OnStar analog/digital changeover was '05 if I remember correctly.

I would drive it!

My daughter's truck ('97 Ranger w/ 235,000 miles) was totaled but I repaired it and got it road worthy again, although I let the body damage go as it was minimal. It's got a salvage title. As someone mentioned earlier, it had to be inspected by the state patrol to make sure there were no stolen parts on it. No big deal.

Just be aware that you might not be able to get anything other than liability coverage on the vehicle if it has a totaled/salvage title. So, be careful how much $$$$$ you sink into it as it won't be covered.
