2520 & 2720 is the same tractor except for horsepower 2520 is 26 hp and the 2720 has 31 hp motors

I get what you say, then it's worth taking a look at. :)

BH6000 is under sized for that tractor. They probably have mounts for the 70x. That would size better.

Gotta watch those Chinese backhoes. We had one guy locally here get one, and we had to replace every hydraulic hose on the unit because they where so poorly made.

Unfortunately Woods only offers the BH6000 for that machine--they do not have a mount for the BH70x.

Agree about the Chinese hoes.

Well my other option is to try and sell this unit and buy the new tractor that was designed to cary the 270A, problem is I don''t know which tractor it is or how it will stand up against the 2720. It's tough living 1800 miles from the closest JD dealer, especially when those 1800 miles is ocean!! Just saying.

Wooden, I hear your frustration and I know that you've mentioned the 270 for years and started a few threads before about it.

I was/am in a similar situation with the loader, I found myself needing it more and more lately mostly because of the hook business, every time I needed the loader the MMM was mounted, and vise-versa...the one machine fits all/Swiss army knife solution was just not working for me anymore and I was tired of switching between these two things.

So, ultimately what I did was to buy a older used JD 455 with a 60" MMM for mowing duties, and retire the MMM on my 4110 so I can have a loader tractor and a mowing tractor. You probably aren't thinking that route yet (getting the hoe and another machine to mow with), and I didn't for years either not wanting a second machine around, but now that I have it I wouldn't want it any other way. Having the loader always available has made some weekly chores much more enjoyable, and the 455 does a better job mowing than the larger 4110 did.

Just something to think about...

Kennyd, I hear ya loud and clear, but I am sure you know the problem ....$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ just lacking.
I have thought of getting a small track hoe , but again, where ever I use the hoe, I'll need the loader, so I would need both machines on the job. tough call, only one trailer and one truck. Thinks maybe I getting too old for this crap also. The whole key to my business model is SMALL Machines!! and for my personal use, Grass cutting my land is key. the $^ will do the job , but too mush work dropping the MMM and hydraulic lift &3pt hitch... Custom home builders on the island are always looking for a small machine to get in to tight places, and that's what I do.
