Kubota 4850 EverClutch
I think I've found the perfect tractor. It's a long ways away, but has everything I'm wanting and has been very well maintained.

L4850, 1997, 1938hrs, hydro shuttle shift, LA950A FEL, 4wd, 540/750pto, and a very fair price tag.

Any last thoughts before I make the deal?

Thanks everyone for all the help and details getting me to this point! I would have gone sideways many times without your input.

So, did you buy this tractor or the GST?

Got the L4850! So far so good, but the power shuttle is taking a bit to get used to. Just have that strong instinct to clutch before moving any levers on a tractor 😬.

What sucks is that it didn't end up having the 2 speed PTO. The Everclutch models had just 540 with an optional 1000 add on.

Interestingly, the PTO doesn't seem to have a brake, I'm wondering if it has a built-in overrunning clutch. Trying to figure this out, will probably start a new thread over in the owning/maintaining forum.

Otherwise, this thing is a beast. Filled rear tires and also cast wheel weights! Tires are original R4s and need to be replaced soon. I think I'm going to just use the wheel weights instead of filling the tires. I'd like to switch to R1 ag tread but need to figure out if I need different rims for that.

Paid $17k for it, seemed like a fair price to me.

You will need to change(all 4) rims to go to R1's.My PTO will run for a while after shutting off(bought new).Turn RPM's down first.

Do you have the same tractor as I do?
