im excited, after 3 weeks of running around to get documents im finally on the homestretch of getting my homeloan approved!
i should have an answer in the middle of next week!!
we will be going from 2 acres where we currently live, to 16 acres!!
the house we currently live in, we made a lease to own contract, made a 10.000 dollar down payment, and after a year the owner foreclosed.. i was really really pissed, wasted so much money and time on the house, and all is gone...
finding a bank was kind of hard for us, im from Germany, and my legal status is Non-Immigrant, since im here on a work visa, and the timing was just right, my current visa expires in september... so we had to proof to the bank that the Visa will be extended..( which is not easy to do) but they finaly settled down and told me they would except it if i could send the new Visa petition... so we had to speed up the process of the new visa... atleast the company i work for was very helpfull and did everything possible to support me.
anyway, back to the new house, the house has:
basement, barn with running water and electicity, detached garage, 1 acre pond, some pastures, a few acres of wood
it perfect for what my family want, we want to be as self sufficient as we can be, and have our children grow up living the farm life..
im just a little bit worried about moving... i dont have a stock trailer, and we have 3 goats, 1 cow, 50 chickens
that will be fun
