I am not sure if this is a gloat or just a decent purchase?
I was looking for a John Deere mower deck for my old LT-155 and saw this ad for a
"John Deere ride on mower almost new B.O., make an offer".
So I sent off a quick email asking what model it was and how much they really wanted for it. Shortly after a woman called me and said it was a LA-175 and they were told it was worth between 800 and 900 dollars.
So I told her I would like to come and see it and I would bring cash. It turned out to be an LA-145 with a 48" mowing deck and came with a few extra's, like the 6.5 cuft two bag bagger, tow behind JD cart, JD Thatcher, cover, and a fertilizer cart.
The woman selling it told me she just wanted to sell the thing. I asked her if she would take $800 and she said yes and also throw in all of the other stuff. I was a little disappointed because it has 7 hours on it, she had told me it had a few hours on it!
There is some dirt in the cart, but mainly from just sitting around, I do not think it was ever used!
The thatcher was never used either.
