Buying spader direct from Italy?

Is this possible to do?

I do speak Italian and spaders are pricey, I wonder if it would save a dollar or two.

I wouldn't do it. The shipping will be very expensive for a single unit and the hassle of making the arrangements, especially with customs at the port of entry could be a nightmare. There are several dealers/companies that import Italian farm machinery. Why not talk to them first.

Another point: while lots of suppliers in Europe seem to be eating some of the $$$ to Euro exchange differences to remain competitive in the US, you'd definitely be paying a full Euro price if you bought directly in Italy. That would hurt too.
