If the fitting sheared off and the threaded end is still in the threads you will need a very small easy out to remove it-the square type of easy out.
Another option is a small left hand drill bit with a battery drill and hope no loctite was used to secure the grease fitting- oh and a warm garage or a kerosene salamander to keep warm while you are lying on a water proof tarp removing it.
I am unsure if they even make grease fitting repair kits with the removal tools anymore.
thanks for the help I think it is pressed in. Can I drill and tap it with out taking it apart our will I wreck the shaft. PS to cold here to walk out to the shed to look at it tonight -11f -35f wind chill Thank you
