Without being there I cannot say for sure but I doubt it is that noisy. My BX with 60 MMM just purrs. I do not operate it at rated PTO speed because the high blade speed of the deck is sufficient to give an excellent cut at lesser speed. Even at PTO speed it is quieter than the guy across the street Craftmsan--that things sounds like a hover craft. You don't have mulching blades or a bent blade? Does the deck vibrate.--OH yeah---make sure the PTO shaft is fully attached--and never mess with the PTO shaft when the tractor is running. Ya know, as tractors get bigger they get noiser, my BX operates so much more quietly than my 2410, especially the transmission. I suggest you back off the throttle, the BX deck does great at slower operating speeds. Save full arse wide open for the heavy stuff. J
