Good thought....the only thing to be careful here is to make sure the connections are tight after installation.
As many times as all of us have removed and replaced our FELs I'll wager that most of us have wondered why the lines are so short....sure would be easier if there was more line...it would be a bit more forgiving.
Guess I'll look into making up a set of jumper hoses that I could install to get a bit more length to my lines. Maybe an additional 8 inches would help.....connect them when removing the FEL . Leave them in place until I put the FEL back on and then remove them for normal operation.

Retract the attachments per jrlichina, find acouple of young guys, and have them haul it up onto the pins. Its not that heavy.

I think the lines are long enough, I've never had a problem. Having longer lines will most likely get in the way when the loader is on and possibly rub on the tractor hood and/or loader arm. Just follow the proper procedure for removal/installation and you should have no problems. I can remove/install my loader in as little as 2 minutes.
