I've pretty much decided on buying the Kubota over the New Holland 'Boomer'. However, I'm getting mixed opinions from the two dealers regarding the ability of the BX to fully power a rear PTO debris blower (Agrimetal 240). I've given up using my vac system, (too many damn leaves!) so I want to use the tractor for leaf blowing, among other things.
Has anyone else had success with a blower for the BX?? Any thoughts appreciated - leaves are starting to fall.

Would it be correct to assume that the blower is 24" in diameter? If it is than you should be fine to run it on the BX kubota. It will use the HP you have to it's fullest but that shouldn't hurt it and would actually be good for the tractor. 27" diameter would be to much for the tractor to run as they require 20PTO horsepower minimum to run.

MIkemax,

Glad you made a decision, that seems to be the toughest part for all of us! Just wanted to make sure that you fully understand that the BX does not match up with any of the Boomers. The BX is a sub-compact and even the smallest Boomer is a compact. Capabilities of each are very different.

Good Luck, JimBinMI
