Bx 2230 hyd fel valve

hope someone can help me out. I have a bx2230 with a la211 fel. I built a 60" snow plow with double acting cylinders(8"x1") for lift and angle. My problem is when i angle the plow to the right it will automatically swing to the left if you dont push past the detent in the valve. when i have the loader on this is not an issue. could it have something to do with the size of thwe cylinders i am using or can i adjust the detent in the spool? Thanks ahead of time for any info you can give.

For some reason Kubota uses a regenerative circuit for their dump. Pushing past the detent overrides the regen and gives you normal operation. A PITA but at least a reasonably easy solution.

I added hydraulic angling to the 54" snow blade I used with my BX1860 and had no issues - push the lever right, the blade angles right, push left and it angles left. Year's back Kubota use to use 3-way valves and changed to 4-way. It sounds like you might have the old 3-way valve, but you also indicated it has a detent all the way right, correct? If you have the old 3-way valve, I believe that could be the issue, but I honestly forget the rationale. Perhaps someone who can explain the difference will chime in and also how to check which valve your BX has.

Thanks, I bought the tractor in '04. I am used to it but it really drives my neighbors crazy when they put away the snowblower and shovel to use tractor. I actually get some amusement watching them as they look dumbfounded when it happens. Then my 10 year old son goes over and tells them what they need to do, since they forgot since the last storm.

You must be some neighbor letting them borrow your tractor I wouldn't let my neighbors borrow any of mine
