bx 2230 steering

Has anyone had problems with their steering on a 2230.If you turn the wheel nothing happens until goes almost all the way around thanks in advance

I have not had that problem. Sounds like either low fluid or air in the system for some reason.

If not that there is some larger problem.

I've had my BX2200 for two and one half years. No steering problems to date.

I have never had any problems like that on mine. You must have an air trap.

I had this problem on my BX2200. If you turned the wheel slow, you could turn forever and nothing would happen. If you turned it quickly, it caught and the steering was fine. The tractor would also wander when going straight.
The dealer replaced several components. Turned out it was the hydraulic cylinder up front. Apparently some had gotten contaminated with moisture and the fluid would leak by.

I had the same problem. Dealer replaced steering components under warranty. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
